Thanks to its main organiser, Mosonmagyaróvár Modelling Club, the annually held Model Exhibition and Contest has become one of Europe’s outstanding events in the past 20 years. The event, which was organised in the foyer of the local library at the beginning, was visited by an increasing number of people so the venue was first moved to the rooms of the local culture centre and from 2004 to the buildings of the University of Agricultural Science. Entrants can compete in various categories in the contest: the miniature versions of military vehicles, airplanes, figures, civilian vehicles and ships are assessed.
